Better late than never. . . I'm FINALLY posting some pictures from our camping trip over 4th of July weekend up at Detroit Lake (SE of Salem, Oregon). We headed up Thursday afternoon after work and stayed until mid-afternoon on the 4th of July (we made sure we were home by the evening of the 4th to ensure that the dogs were okay with the fireworks) . . . We were pooped!! But a great time was had by all!
What did we do?
We packed up and headed out on an adventure! 
We swam in the lake(Isaac dislikes having his picture taken these days)...
the kids played checkers (I played too and lostagainst Isaac but won when playing Faith
. . . It was my first time playing). . .
we napped. . . 
. . . hiked around the campground with our "Camp Hosts" . . . 
We watched the cute little ground squirrels . . . (good picture Isaac!)
We roasted LOTS of hot dogs and marshmellows!(Don't worry Faithy, smoke follows beauty)
our boys were "boys" as they wrestledaround in Mom & Dad's trailer. . .
and we celebrated the 4th of July("Good morning Dad. Do you need some coffee?")
Faith got decked out for the campground's annual 4th of July "Kids' parade" -- bikes, kids, and pets were all decorated and circled around the campground together giving the rest of us a parade.
Elijah did a great job in the J.R. Beaver costume!!(that's him with Faith. . . too cute!!!)

It's so fun to see pictures of your family and parents. Say "hi" to them for me. I'm also jealous of that Oregon beauty. It will forever feel like home to me. Tennessee is pretty in it's own way, but nothing compares to the Pacific NW.
